Expanding the "move over" law was among the priorities for the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission.

Nixon also signed legislation Monday that continues a fee for collecting criminals' DNA samples. The surcharge set to expire in August 2013 will be extended until 2019. It also eliminates a requirement that the money be redirected to the state's general account if state revenue doesn't grow sufficiently.
