St. Francis Universal Health and Fitness will hold its 2nd Annual St. Francis Universal National Senior Health and Fitness Day Thursday, May 27.
Festivities begin at 10 a.m. with a PACE demonstration. PACE is an exercise program designed for people with arthritis. The day continues with activities that continue throughout the afternoon.
Participants can see first-hand the benefits of the Vitality Program, which focuses on strength and balance improvements, and heart/lung conditioning.
Angie Holtzhouser, author of "Drop Dumplins' & Pan Fried Memories Along the Mississippi," will give a presentation.
The day concludes with line dance demonstration by Beth Mueller.
