Dustin Crass
Air Force airman Dustin C. Crass has graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Tex.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization and customs and received special training in human relations.
In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Crass is the son of Terry M. and Sheila K. Crass of 281 Rustic Hills Ln., in Jackson. He is a 1992 graduate of Jackson High School.
Aaron D. Wunderlich
Navy airman Aaron D. Wunderlich, son of James R. and Marian K. Wunderlich of 1415 Primrose Ln. in Jackson, recently reported for duty aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, homeported in Bremerton, Wash. He is a 1994 graduate of Jackson High School.
Eric K. Fledderman
Marine Pvt. Eric K. Fledderman, son of Carl R. and Madonna Fledderman of 509 Forest in Jackson, recently completed recruit training.
During the training cycle at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, recruits are taught the basics of battlefield survival, introduced to typical military daily routine and to personal and professional standards.
All recruits participate in an active physical conditioning program and gain proficiency in a variety of military skills including first aid, rifle marksmanship and close-order drill. Teamwork and self-discipline are emphasized throughout the cycle. He is a 1993 graduate of Jackson High School.
Ryan N. Strack
Navy hospitalman recruit Ryan N. Strack, son of Terry N. and Sharyn L. Strack of 1217 County Road 335 in Jackson recently graduated from the Basic Hospital Corps School in San Diego.
During the course, students receive instruction on basic medical procedures used by hospital corpsmen who assist Navy doctors and nurses.
Course studies also include an introduction to all phases of military health service. He is a 1994 graduae of Jackson High School.
