Erica's mother, Michelle Johnson, pleaded guilty last year to second-degree murder. As part of the plea deal, she agreed to testify against her husband.

Prosecutors allege Johnson was high on drugs when he kicked Erica in the head because she wouldn't go to bed. They say he left her to die, then later decapitated her.
