NEW SPORTING GOODS BUSINESS OPENS IN CAPE

A new sporting goods and athletic apparel business has opened in Cape Girardeau.

"We can offer top-name merchandise at competitive prices," said Gary J. Schmidt, owner of Unlimited Sports & Athletics (USA), which opened recently at 1833 N. Kingshighway. "We also offer screening, embroidering and other lettering to customize athletic apparel."

The firm specializes in group sales to schools, corporations, small businesses and social organizations.

The company is a member of SportIt, a national sporting goods and sportswear distributor and coordinator that offers top brand-name merchandise.

"We have access to more than 90 suppliers of sporting goods and athletic apparel," said Schmidt. "This includes a lengthy list such as Holloway, Hartwell, Rawlings, Wilson, and King Louis. We have a wide selection available for group purchases."
