ROLLA -- The Missouri Conservation Commission has added more than 1,200 acres to its property list.
The commission approved purchases of:
Three acres on Roubidoux Creek in Pulaski County, for a public fishing access.
347 acres in Ste. Genevieve County as addition to Magnolia Hollow State Forest.
255 acres in Andrew County as addition to the Northwest Missouri wetland area.
80 acres in Henry County, as an addition to Chapel View Prairie.
In addition to the 635 purchased acre, the commission agreed to accept from the FArmers Home Administration inventory, 640 acres in Bollinger County as an addition to Castor river State Forest.
