NEW OFFICERS NAMED FOR WILLING WORKERS 4-H CLUB

The Tri-City Willing Workers 4-H Club of Scott County installed new officers for 1994. Conducting the ceremony was community leader Mike Burger.

Assuming offices were Travis Burger, president; Sonya Siebert, vice-president; Lori Arnzen, secretary; and Dale Burger, treasurer.

Awards were presented to members who successfully completed an approved project for 1993.

A highlight was presentation of the Southeast Missouri District Fair's Herdsman Award to the club's beef project group. The traveling award can be won by any 4-H group exhibiting livestock at the SEMO District Fair.

Winning the trophy is the result of the highest score after several anonymous fair officials conducted unannounced inspections at the fair. The scoring is based upon professional conduct and appearance of their display areas.
