NEW OFFICERS

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Glendella May has been elected president of the Cape Girardeau County Legal Secretaries Association.

Other officers elected last week include Karen Hancock, vice president; Barbara Ward, secretary; Mary Tripp, treasurer; Cheryl Amos, governor; and Jackie Givens, national representative.

The officers will be installed and "Boss of the Year" and "Legal Secretary of the Year" will be announced during the association's annual meeting, to be held at Cape Country Club April 12. Also scheduled following the annual banquet is an auction of items donated by area merchants, with proceeds to help fund the annual scholarship awarded by the association.
