NEW NAME FOR FIRM IN JACKSON

JACKSON -- A Jackson used-vehicle operation has changed names. Friedrich's Auto Sales recently became Mouser Auto Inc.

"We're the same business and we provide the same, good service," said Milton Mouser, who has been involved in the operation at 125 E. Adams for more than 20 years.

George Friedrich and Gene Harris opened Friedrich's Motors more than 30 years ago, in April 1961.

"I purchased Friedrich's share of the business in 1970," said Mouser. "We continued the business with Harris until 1984, when I purchased Harris' interests."

Mouser's son, Jason Mouser, went into the business in January.

"It was then we decided to change the name," said Mouser, who has been involved in auto sales for 28 years.

Mouser will continue to handle late-model, low-mileage, pre-owned automobiles.

"We also have a full-time shop for repairs and warranty work," said Mouser.

The business is open six days a week.
