Williams, Larry Quade, Becky Heuer, Ralph L. Ford, Shirley Aufdenberg, Karen McLane and Tim Sievers will join 11 members of the council who are continuing their terms...

JACKSON -- A dozen people have been elected to the Cape Girardeau County Extension Council.

Mack Wilson, Mrs. John (Ellen) Lorberg, Lawson Burgfeld, Chris Weiss, Steve Birk, Ted J. Williams, Larry Quade, Becky Heuer, Ralph L. Ford, Shirley Aufdenberg, Karen McLane and Tim Sievers will join 11 members of the council who are continuing their terms.

Judy Moss is also a new member of the council, appointed to represent the City of Cape Girardeau.

The group is the official sponsor of extension work in cape County.

Other members are Darrell Aufdenberg, Mary Bollinger, Joy Engelhart, A. W. ("Bud") Job, Mark S. Kasten, George Kirchdoerfer, Eileen Meier, James K. Sander, Leonard Sander, Jerry Siemers and LaFern Schoen.

The annual meeting and election of officers will be held Feb. 19.

The Council makes recommendations and suggestions to the university concerning the extensions programs, and administers the county's share of the cost of extension service over which the council has jurisdiction.

University extension programs are open to all.
