BENTON, Mo. -- A New Madrid man has been arrested and another is being sought, suspected of numerous crimes in Scott County, the sheriff said.
Jack D. Terry, 18, of Parma, has been charged with two counts of stealing, burglary and first-degree tampering with a car, Sheriff Bill Ferrell said.
Terry and another man have been charged with a residential burglary, stealing and a car theft that took place on April 29 in Salcedo. Charges for two burglaries and two thefts from cars in Sikeston are pending, along with a theft charge from a crime committed in Vanduser within the past five months, Ferrell said.
Terry is being held in the New Madrid County jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.
