NEW LAWN CARE SERVICE OPENS

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- ServiceMaster LawnCare of Cape Girardeau recently opened operations here.

"We're primarily a turf maintenance company," said Barry Glastetter, one of the partners in the new business. "We'll fertilize the lawn, seed it, and/or treat it for weeds and insects."

Joining Barry Glastetter in the firm is Eric Glastetter, a Southeast Missouri State University graduate wiht a degree in horticulture.

"We'll also do core aeration and soil testing," said Eric Glastetter.

Barry Glastetter is also a Southeast Missouri State University graduate, with a degree in marketing and management. He worked with Wal-Mart seven years as a store manager.

The Glastetters recently attended an academy on lawn care, which included actual "on-the-job" training.
