NEW JACKSON OFFICE BUILDING OPENS

JACKSON -- A new office building is now ready for occupancy at Jackson.

"We already have one client for the new building," said Gerald McElrath, developer of the two-story structure at 810 Highway 61 East.

McElrath, of Heartland Realty in Jackson, said the main floor of the building contains 4,000 square feet.

"We have a total of about 7,000 square feet for lease," he said. "We completed renovation of a house which adjoins the building. This gives us about 1,300 square feet, and the basement area adds another 1,700 square feet."

Contractor for the building was B.H. Beussink Construction Co.
