NEW INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY COMPANY OPENS HERE

Kagmo Industrial Supply Co. opened recently at 2355 Rust Ave., Cape Girardeau.

Rebecca Heuer and Tom Froemsdorf, who operate Kagmo Electric Motor Co., started the new enterprise.

"We saw a need in this area for industrial parts sales," said general manager Tom Poston. "There is a good market here for these products."

"The company handles Dodge power transmissions, Furnas electric motor controls, and Goodman belt idlers, screw and drag conveyors and bucket elevators," he said.

The company expects to serve engineering houses, electrical contractors, manufacturers, grain elevators, feed mills, power plants, quarries and Redi-Mix concrete plants.

Kagmo Industrial is hiring one salesperson immediately and will enlarge the staff later.

Poston worked for a local industrial firm 14 years and two years for an engineering construction firm. The Cape Girardeau native spent four years in the Air Force and is a Vietnam veteran. He and his wife Jane have three children.
