Janet Clark has joined Health Services Corporation of America as director of corporate communications.
Earl Norman, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of the company, announced Clark's appointment this week.
Clark earned a bachelor of arts degree from St. Louis University, has a master of arts degree from Southeast Missouri State University, and is pursuing a doctorate degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.
Most recently, Clark has been a part-time instructor of English and business communications at Southeast Missouri State University. She serves as executive director of the St. Vincent Education Foundation at Perryville, and earlier was associated with St. Louis government, where she was a public relations specialist. Prior to that she was an editor for St. Louis Suburban Newspapers.
HSCA, a Cape Girardeau-based group-purchasing firm, was founded in 1969. It purchases services for health-care organizations.
