NEW HAIR SALON TO OPEN

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Kay's Creative Hair and Nail Design will open near here Monday.

"We'll feature hair styling, cutting, and nail sculpturing," said Kay Wolpers, who will open her new salon at Parkwood Lakes Estate, Number 2, located on Route K two miles west of WEst Park Mall.

Wolpers has been a hair stylist 27 years, working the past nine years at a salon in West Park

Mall.

She recently finished among the "Top 50" among more than 400 stylists entered in hair cutting and styling competition at a Chicago show.

The new shop will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

"I will also be available by appointment only, from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday," said Wolpers. "Walk-ins are welcome on other days."
