New fundraising effort planned for Melaina's Magical Playland

Organizers for the construction and funding for Melaina's Magical Playland, an all-inclusive playground, have announced the start of the "Pave the Way" fundraising campaign. Supporters will be able to purchase a customized brick paver near the entrance of the playground. Proceeds will support the completion, maintenance and expansion of the playground. Melaina's Magical Playland is the only publicly available, all-access playground in the area. It is located in Cape County Park North. Organizers hope to open the playground in spring 2013.
