NEW FEED AND SEED CENTER OPENS HERE

Specialty Feed and Seed Center, a division of Sikeston Feed and Seed, opened in Cape Girardeau recently.

The new business, located at 470 S. Kingshighway, will feature lawn and garden supplies, including grass seed and fertilizers.

"We'll also feature feed for livestock and pets," said Susan Hubbard, manager of the new facility which opened Monday. "We handle Purina brand feeds, and we have our own `S' Brand, packaged by Sikeston Feed and Seed.

Specialty Feed and Seed is located in a 3,200-square-foot facility, and will be open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.. Saturday.

The new business will employ four persons, three of them part-time.
