Gina Cissell of Perryville has joined First Community Credit Union, the largest credit union in St. Louis, as marketing director with its management team.

Donald C. Berra, president of First Community, announced Cissell's appointment recently.

Cissell has experience in public relations and communications. She was formerly an officer and marketing director at the Bank of Perryville. She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.

Her responsibilities with First Community include management of all advertising, public relations, market research and communications for the firm's 23 locations in the U.S.

First Community serves members at approximately 200 companies, including Monsanto, Hertz, United Van Lines, Venture, Pet, Inc., and Dierbergs.

Diana J. Tate has joined KBSI-TV as an account executive for the Southeast Missouri area.

Tate was previously employed with an independent television station in Southern Illinois and has three years of experience in television advertising.

Tate and her daughter, Tiffany, will reside in Cape Girardeau.

Gale M. Darrow has joined The Spicer Group, a medical practice management service company, as director of client services.

The firm, which provides medical billing support for physicians, dentists, podiatrists, psychologists and optometrists, is based in Memphis, but has satellite offices in Cape Girardeau, Jonesboro, Ark., and Florence, Ala.

Darrow received her bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi and a master's degree from Azusa Pacific University.

PERRYVILLE Dr. James C. Wright has joined Dr. David Kapp in family medicine practice at Perryville.

Wright, who received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in June 1989, is completing an American Medical Association three-year family practice residency at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Ark.

Wright and his family will move to Perryville in July.
