Michelle Elkins has joined Perry Travel Center, 225 S. Plaza Way, as a travel consultant.
Elkins, who has traveled extensively throughout the world, recently completed a comprehensive travel and tourism program at Carlson Travel Academy in St. Louis.
She previously worked at Southeast Missouri State University as an academic adviser and admissions counselor. She also spent 12 years as a consultant for the East Missouri Action Agency's Family Planning Program.
Elkins and her husband, Dan, reside in Cape Girardeau.

Patty Holloway of Puxico and Donna Essner of Cape Girardeau have joined Healthtech Rehabilitation Inc.
Holloway received an associate of arts degree from Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff and was graduated magna cum laude from Southeast Missouri State University. She received her master's degree in communicative disorders from Arkansas State University.
Holloway, her husband, Danny, and daughters, Anielle and Jeanette, reside in Puxico.
Essner received bachelor of science and master of arts degrees in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University. She received the Alumni Award in Communication Sciences and Disorders for Outstanding Clinical Performance for 1991 and 1992. Essner and her husband, Roger, live in Cape Girardeau.
Healthtech provides rehabilitation service for longterm care facilities and has an outpatient clinic for patients needing occupational therapy, physical therapy or speech therapy. The clinic is on Highway 61 East at Jackson.

Doris Jean Arnold has been appointed training and recruitment director of Century 21 Ashland Realty Co.
Arnold's appointment was announced this week by Herbert L. Annis, broker.
Arnold has several years experience with Century 21. She will interview and recruit all incoming licensed agents for the firm.
Century 21 is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Metropolitan Life Insurance Co.
