NEW EMPLOYEES

Renee Mattingly has joined the Missouri state auditor's office as an audit assistant, announced state Auditor Margaret Kelly.

Mattingly, formerly of Cape Girardeau, received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Southeast Missouri State University. She now resides in Jefferson City.

Thomas Blai, a 1992 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, has joined the law firm of Toohey and Moore of Perryville.

Blair, a graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School in Perryville, received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University. He recently passed the bar exam.

He is practicing law in the firm's office at Ste. Genevieve.

Other members of the firm are Francis Toohey Jr., Kim R. Moore and Nancy Narrow Gaultney.

Pete Clement of Cape Girardeau has joined MetLife, 351 Silver Springs Road, Suite 110, as an account representative.

He recently completed training from Career Success School in Kansas City, Kan.

Clement was previously a member of the Missouri National Guard in Cape Girardeau. He received his honorable discharge from the Army in 1989.

He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.

Shirley Ramsey of Bell City has assumed duties as coordinator with the Community Caring Council in Cape Girardeau. Aleshia Geringer of Cape Girardeau is new secretary for the council.

The office of the Caring Council is on the Southeast Missouri State University campus, at 810 Normal.

The council, which promotes coordination and cooperation between agencies, organizations, schools, churches and the business community, has been designated as one of five sties in Missouri to receive state funding as a "community prototype." The model program will involve the coordination of inter-agency activities related to children's services.
