Hall attended Cape Girardeau Central High School and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1989 with a bachelor of science degree in mass communications.
"I was anxious to get back to Cape," she said. "It's a great place to grow up and a fun place to live."

Dr. Thomas M. Gibbons has joined the Regional Eyecare Center.
Gibbons attended Southeast Missouri State University and graduated with honors from the Missouri-St. Louis School of Optometry. He was a recipient of the Primary Care Clinician Award and will be assisting in the training of optometric interns from the University of Missouri.
With the addition of Gibbons, Dr. Beverly Cleair and Dr. Robert Felker will be expanding Regional Eyecare Center's services to include orthokeratology, a process which uses contact lenses to reshape the cornea and reduce nearsightedness. Specialized services for patients with visual impairments will also be incorporated into the practice.
This is a sort of homecoming for Gibbons, a charter recipient of the Governor' Scholarship at Southeast Missouri State. He said there are a number of reasons for returning to Cape and joining the Regional Eyecare Center.
"I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Cleair and Dr. Felker in the past and I welcomed the prospect of joining them here," he said. "Regional Eyecare Center is a beautiful facility and its doctors have a tremendous desire to keep up with the growth of the profession, including the latest procedures and technology."
