Burl L. Reynolds has been named director of marketing for Health Services Corporation of America.
Reynolds' experience includes development and coordination of marketing in four industries: banking, health care, education and services.
Most recently, Reynolds was corporate representative for Southwestern Bell Telecom in Kansas City. Prior to that he served as account executive and industry consultant for Southwestern Bell Telephone in St. Louis and as a sales representative for Honeywell Inc. in St. Louis.
In 1991 he was selected Vendor of the Year by the Information Systems Division of Marion Merrell Dow.
Reynolds holds a bachelor of science degree with a major in marketing from Southeast Missouri State University. A native of Cape Girardeau, Reynolds, his wife, Ann, and daughter, Paige, 3, will reside in Cape Girardeau.
Health Services, headquartered in Cape Girardeau and founded in 1969, is one of the nation's oldest and largest shared-services organizations servicing health-care providers.

Maggie Friend has rejoined the marketing and communications department at Southeast Missouri Hospital as promotion and marketing coordinator.
The department, under the director of Nancy A. Bray, is responsible for all health-care marketing, advertising, communication and promotion for Southeast Hospital and its outreach programs.
Prior to resuming promotional duties at the hospital, Friend was employed by CenterMark Properties Inc. as marketing director at West Park Mall.
Friend, who has seven years of prior service at Southeast, her husband, Charles, and son, Champion, reside in Cape Girardeau.

Jim Lentz, a recently-retired Air Force officer, has been named president of Air Evac EMS.
Lentz succeeds the company's founding president, Bill Chritton, who has become chairman of the air ambulance company's board of directors.
Air Evac EMS, also known as the Air Evac Lifeteam, provides emergency medication transportation in Southern Missouri, Northern Arkansas, Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky and Northwest Tennessee.
The 7-year-old company operates air ambulance services out of Cape Girardeau, Springdale, Ark., and West Plains, home of its corporate offices.
Lentz, a native of Blytheville, Ark., retired in April at the rank of colonel after a 27-year Air Force career. At the time of his retirement he was base commander of Eaker Air Force base in Arkansas.
He is a graduate of Arkansas State University-Jonesboro, and has a master's degree in public administration from Golden Gate University. He has logged more than 5,600 hours piloting jet and turboprop aircraft.
Air Evac started its Cape Girardeau operations in July 1987, when it established a base at St. Francis Medical Center.

JACKSON Julie Walker has joined Parents' Co-operative Child Development Center, a preschool designed for 3- and 4-year-olds.
Walker, who has eight years of teaching experience, has a master's degree in education. She has worked as an in-home child-care provider for three years. She has worked extensively with children on a volunteer basis, serving as a children's church choir director and as music workshops director for the Parents As Teachers program in Warrenton.
Walker, her husband, David Walker, administrator of Jackson Manor, and children, Lucas, 9, Chelsea, 6, and Hannah, 3, moved to Jackson in February.

Harris is a graduate of Sikeston Beauty College and is experienced in all phases of hair care.
