Sherry Mouser has joined Curl Up and Dye Beauty Salon, 621 Good Hope.

Mouser, of McClure, Ill., has almost a year's experience. She is a graduate of Stage One The Hair School.

She worked at a Jackson beauty salon for more than six months before joining Curl Up and Dye.

Ethel Brown has joined Mercantile Bank of Cape Girardeau as assistant vice president and credit administrator.

She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and Mercantile Bank's Professional Development program. She was formerly employed with Mercantile Bank of Poplar Bluff for more than six years.

She is a certified public accountant and is a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce.

Brown, her husband, Phil, and children, Gentry and Zachary, reside in Cape Girardeau.

Richard M. Meinke has joined KFVS-12 as maintenance engineer/master control operator.

Arnold Killian, chief engineer at the television station, announced Meinke's appointment recently.

Meinke, who holds a bachelor's degree in electronics from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, served in the Navy from 1985 through 1991, and was assigned to attack Squadron 85 aboard the U.S.S. America deployed to the Persian Gulf in Operation Desert Storm.

Meinke, a native of Kansas City, and his family now reside in Cape Girardeau.

Debra Atchison has joined KFVS-12 as an account executive.

Jim Wareham, general sales manager at the Cape Girardeau television station, announced the appointment recently.

Prior to joining KFVS-12, Atchison was an account executive for a radio station in Cape Girardeau.

Atchison, a native of Oran, her husband, Clint, and their two children, reside at Benton.

CARBONDALE, Ill. Amy Snyder has joined the Southern Illinoisan newspaper as advertising sales representative for Perry County, Illinois.

Prior to joining the Southern Illinoisan, Snyder was an account executive at the Southeast Missourian newspaper in Cape Girardeau.

She has a bachelor's degree with a major in advertising and minor in mass communications from Southeast Missouri State University.

Sally LeGrand has joined the sales team of Craftsman Office Supply, 835 Broadway.

LeGrand has three years sales experience. She is a member of Excelsior Optimist Club, where she served as chairperson of the annual cystic fibrosis fund-raiser.

Legrand, her husband, Bill, and children, Nathan and Jessica, reside in Kelso.

HERRIN, Ill. Steve Frattini of Herrin, Ill., has been named executive director of the Southern Illinois Tourism Council.

Frattini, a native of Southern Illinois, is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

The tourism council, headquartered in the south wing of the Southern Illinois Arts and Crafts Marketplace at Rend Lake near Ina, is responsible for development and promotion of tourism for the southernmost 35 counties of Illinois.

Judith L. Johnson has joined the Community Counseling Center at Cape Girardeau as director of adult outpatient services.

Johnson previously worked with the Community Counseling Center at the Perryville office.

Doris Sutterer has assumed the position of director of the Community Counseling Center at Perryville.
