SCOTT CITY -- Kenny Blankenship of Benton has joined the staff of G&M Trailers Inc., as a salesman.
Blankenship has several years experience in sales. He worked with Cooney Equipment for six years and with Harris Truck and Trailer for 30 years, 20 of them in sales.
G&M Trailers, 3255 E. Outer Road in Scott City, is distributor for Raven, Transcraft, Matlock and Alumatech trailers. The firm also has used flat trailers, hoppers, dumps and vans, and handles a box trailer rental service.

Gregory K. Deimund has been appointed assistant vice president of investments by Capital Bancorporation Inc.
He will manage the new Invest Center on the third floor of the company headquarters, 407 N. Kingshighway. Through association with Invest Financial Corporation, the Invest Center offers a full range of investments and related financial services.
Prior to joining Capital Bancorporation, Deimund was associated with Shearson Lehman Brothers in St. Louis as a financial consultant, and Dean Witter Reynolds in Kansas City as account executive.
Deimund, a native of Cape Girardeau, is a graduate of Central High School and William Jewell College, where he earned a degree in business administration.
Capital Bancorporation is a publicly traded, multibank holding company that operates five affiliate banks in 17 Missouri locations.

ADVANCE Neil Miles, a vice president at the Bank of Advance, will assume David L. Cummings' position on the bank's board. Cummings, president of the bank, will retire April 1.
Harold M. Miles will assume duties as president.
