PERRYVILLE -- Mark D. Grieshaber has been named chairman, president and chief executive officer of Mercantile Bank of Perryville.
Grieshaber, who has been with Mercantile Bank of the Mineral Area, Farmington, since 1980, replaces Harry N. Harrison Jr., who has been managing the Perryville bank on an interim basis.
A native of Festus, Grieshaber has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Southwest Missouri State University at Springfield and a master's in management from Louis University at Chicago. He has also completed the Omega School of Commercial Lending through Robert Morris & Associates.
Grieshaber served as executive vice president with responsibility for loan administration and operations at Mercantile Bank of the Mineral Area. Prior to joining Mercantile, he was employed as operations officer with Commerce Bank of Festus.
At Farmington he served as secretary of the Farmington Industrial Development Authority and the Missouri Bar Ethics Committee. He was also district chairman for Friends of Scouting and a past president of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce.
Mercantile Bank of Perryville is an affiliate of St. Louis-based Mercantile Bancorporation Inc., which owns 38 banks in Missouri, Kansas and Southern Illinois.

Spinks has more than 15 years experience in cosmetology, and is a graduate of Stage One The Hair School of Cape Girardeau.
Spinks previously worked at Venture Hair Salon. She specializes in all phases of hair care.

Lisa Dunaway and Marilyn Barker recently joined Gulliver's Travel Agency Inc.
Dunaway specializes in corporate as well as leisure travel. She is originally from Cavatie City, Phillipines. She attended school in Poplar Bluff and attended the Midwest Travel Institute in St. Charles.
She was previously employed by Marriott Corp., and Unitravel. Dunaway has traveled extensively and is familiar with diving and scuba destinations.
Barker will specialize in leisure and corporate travel.
Barker has more than 10 years travel agency experience. She is a graduate of Datas II Travel School and has traveled worldwide. She is a native of Mississippi.
Their employment increases the agency's staff to six.

CHAFFEE Allen Vehrs of Marble Hill has been named director of field operations for Wolsey Investigative Service Inc. of Chaffee.
Vehrs' appointment was announced by Jerry D. Wolsey, president of the firm.
Vehrs, a retired Chicago Heights, Ill., police officer, has several years of experience in management and supervision in field operations. He will be responsible for the daily field operations of security and area investigative work.
Wolsey Investigative provides industrial and special-event security and investigative work in Southeast Missouri and northern Arkansas.
