KENNETT, Mo. -- A new election in part of the 150th House District is set for March 19 in the Campbell Ward II, Campbell Rural and Cotton Hill Rural Precinct because voting irregularities were discovered.
Election judges gave some voters ballots with the wrong state House district listed on them.
In the original November election vote count, Campbell Democrat Tom Todd was defeated by incumbent Republican Kent Hampton of Malden. New House district lines had been redrawn before the election, following the 2010 census. Hampton defeated Todd by 116 votes, and was sworn in to the Missouri House last month.
