JACKSON -- En-Vision Design Engineering, a new custom-electronic-design company, has opened at Jackson.
Gordon Varney, who has an engineering degree and more than eight years of experience in the electronics field, opened the business at 326 West Main.
"We'll design and manufacture custom electronic designs," said Varney. "We'll design individual circuits and circuit boards for commercial and industrial use.
"We're not looking at mass manufacturing," he said. "We'll be manufacturing the circuits and circuit boards we design for specific uses."
Varney has attended several seminars and classes on electronics, including the National Motoral Training School at Plantation, Fla. He received certification in a number of electronic areas.
Varney and his wife, Sherry, a secretary in the business, reside in Millersville.
