SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) -- A Nevada man was sentenced in federal court Tuesday on child pornography charges in a case involving a 12-year-old girl.

Raymond Houdeshell, 41, of Nevada, was sentenced to five years in federal prison without parole for producing child pornography. The court also ordered Houdeshell to forfeit all computer equipment and other items used in the production of the child pornography.

Houdeshell was among three defendants charged in an indictment in October.

Houdeshell's wife, Diane Houdeshell, 40, also of Nevada, was sentenced Nov. 10 to seven years in prison without parole.

On March 29, the Houdeshells pleaded guilty to one count of using a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for photographs.

In a related case, Fred M. Frakes, 36, of Schell City, was also sentenced Nov. 10 to two years in federal prison without parole for receiving child pornography.

Diane Houdeshell admitted that on three separate occasions between May 1, 1999, and May 10, 2001, she took sexually explicit pictures of a 12-year-old in her home. The images were mailed outside the state and eventually appeared on Internet Web sites.

Raymond Houdeshell admitted that he helped his wife stage the photographs.

Frakes admitted he knowingly obtained over the Internet from Chicago a photograph of the 12-year-old girl victimized by the Houdeshells. In return, Frakes said he mailed three photographs of a 14-year-old minor to the person in Chicago.
