Nell Holcomb School District will hold both kindergarten and preschool screenings on April 29.
The purpose of the screening is to help parents monitor their child's growth and development and to assist in providing for educational needs of children within the district.
The screenings will cover the areas of language development, cognitive thinking skills, fine and gross motor skills, and vision and hearing. Staff members will share the results with parents upon completion of testing.
Appointments for the screenings are required to help the school district provide an appropriate number of staff members for these activities.
To make an appointment call the school after Wednesday at 334-3644. This is a free service to all families within the Nell Holcomb School District.
