Nell Holcomb School District to conduct kindergarten screening

The Nell Holcomb School District will conduct kindergarten screening/enrollment and screening for 3- and 4-year-olds March 19 at Nell Holcomb school, 6547 Highway 177, according to a news release.

Appointments are needed and may be made by calling 334-3644. Those eligible for kindergarten must present an immunization record, official birth certificate, Social Security card and proof of residency at the time of enrollment, the release said.

Children must be 5 years old before Aug. 1 to attend kindergarten in the fall and all immunizations must be up to date before children can attend classes, the release said.
