Kirchoff had 97 votes and Roberts 78 to challenger Kim McLard's 43.

With 96 votes, Daryl McNeely was elected to a special one-year term to complete the term vacated by Debra Followell.

At Oak Ridge, incumbent board president Stephen Schonhoff was re-elected to a three-year term with 66 votes. Newcomer Darrell G. Hahs was elected with 71 votes. Incumbent Richard Baer did not run for re-election.
