Neighborhood Connections, the association of residents of downtown Cape Girardeau neighborhoods, is scheduled to meet tonight.
The guest speaker will be Tim Morgan, Cape Girardeau's director of inspection services. The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. in the parish hall of Christ Episcopal Church at 101 N. Fountain St., with block captains asked to arrive at 6 p.m.
Also, Broadway Books & Roasting Co., 605 Broadway, will hold a neighborhood party and open house at 7 p.m. Saturday to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. The event features fresh roasted coffee and live music by Stephanie Fridley and Hays Hendricks.
