NEIGHBOR DAYS FEST INCLUDES SKYDIVERS

BENTON -- The 24th annual Benton Neighbor Day celebration will be held Sept. 4 and 5. Highlights include a skydiver show.

The fun begins at 5 p.m. on Sept. 4 with the opening of the midway and registration for prizes at the Chamber of Commerce booth.

The skydiving shows will be held both days at 6:30 p.m. Live entertainment will be provided by Southland.

Activities on Sept. 5 begin at 10:30 a.m. with a parade, followed by an antique car show. The afternoon will be filled with three-legged, wheelbarrow, piggy-back and bicycle races. Games include a tug-of-war, egg throwing and nail driving contests.

A talent show will be held at 7 p.m. and a dance will follow at 9 p.m. featuring Charlie's Music Revue.

The festival is sponsored by the Benton Chamber of Commerce.
