Nearly 6,000 still without power in Missouri
SIKESTON, Mo. -- More than 5,800 customers are still without power in the Missouri Bootheel region, three weeks after a severe ice storm knocked down hundreds of poles and caused damage to lines and transformers. The ice storm struck southern Missouri on Jan. 26-27. Utility officials hope to have all power restored by the end of the week.
