Natural Lifestyle Cooking, a seminar that goes a step beyond cooking to add joy and years to your life, is being offered at the Cape Girardeau Seventh-day Adventist Church, 820 S. West End Blvd. Classes begin Sunday at 5 p.m. and continue for five consecutive Sundays. All other classes begin at 6 p.m.
The seminar will be shown live via satellite and videotaped lectures. This seminar has been welcomed by people of all classes and cultures throughout the United States and Europe. You will gain the ability to make natural lifestyle cooking both simple and enjoyable. Authors of the seminar are Mark and Ernestine Finley.
Each session will last two hours and feature demonstrations of cooking healthful foods. Included will be presentations on the latest scientific evidence for reducing the risk of cancer, heart disease, and other killer diseases through healthful diet and lifestyle. Each evening participants will have the opportunity to taste locally the delicious vegetarian recipes demonstrated that evening.
On Sept. 29, participants' families will be invited to a buffet dinner where new recipes prepared by seminar attendees will be taste-tested.
