NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY SELECTS CENTRAL STUDENTS

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- New members of the National Honor Society were inducted at Cape Central High School Tuesday.

Juniors and seniors at the school who meet standards in scholarship, leadership and service were invited to join the organization. Students in National Honor Society must maintain a cumulative B average and must be active in three approved school organizations and activities.

Seniors inducted into the National Honor Society at Central were: Christina Fields, Eugene Frazier III, Chris Gullette, Michele Hammontree, Brigitte Kouo, Jennifer Mabrey, Jonathan "Kris" Outman, Aimee Sanders.

Juniors inducted into the National Honor Society were Mala Ahuja, Darren Allcock, Melissa Ashby, Travis Austin, Gwenda Bennett, Kip Brown, Paul Cairns, Brian Campbell, William Campbell, Deborah Chung, Meredith Crain, Shannon Curtis, Michelle Eakins, Stephanie Finney, Felicia Ford, Kathryn Ford, Christa Givins, Shannon Glass, Angela Haas, Brandon Hahs,

Ashley Hall, Karen Hasty, Haresh Kamath, David Kinder, Lori Knoth, Marty McCormack, Kristen McCune, Kelly O'Neil, Elizabeth Otto, Stephen Owen, Tammy Parrish, Kenneth Pemberton, Carrie Peterman, Janie Propst, Hema Rajan, Stephen Reimann, Roy Roper, Kelly Schwab, Cara Simpson, Clint Tracy and Lynn Underwood.

Student in National Honor Society this year worked as guides for Back-to-School Night and Parent Teacher Conference Day, ushers for Baccalaureate and graduation. They also worked at the school blood drive and at swim meets.
