CAPE GIRARDEAU -- New members of the National Honor Society were inducted at Cape Central High School Tuesday.
Juniors and seniors at the school who meet standards in scholarship, leadership and service were invited to join the organization. Students in National Honor Society must maintain a cumulative B average and must be active in three approved school organizations and activities.
Seniors inducted into the National Honor Society at Central were: Christina Fields, Eugene Frazier III, Chris Gullette, Michele Hammontree, Brigitte Kouo, Jennifer Mabrey, Jonathan "Kris" Outman, Aimee Sanders.

Student in National Honor Society this year worked as guides for Back-to-School Night and Parent Teacher Conference Day, ushers for Baccalaureate and graduation. They also worked at the school blood drive and at swim meets.
