Names revealed for mystery photo of Ancell Grade School graduation

Lavada Schlegel of Kelso, Mo., identified three individuals in the eighth-grade graduation photo published Thursday. The date of the photo was May 16, 1930, and the school, no longer standing, was in Scott City. The late Bertha Peetz, bottom right, was Schlegel's mother. Two other individuals identified were the teachers centered in the back row. They were, second from left, Grover Newell and Irene Dannanmueller. Other names given were George Miller, front row center, and without placement were Martha Hamilton, Jessie Mae Dopp and Ollie Edmonds.
