TAMMS, Ill. -- Tim Caldwell of Tamms and Virgil Hargan of Metropolis have been selected to serve on the Country Companies Agency Advisory Committee.
Members of the advisory committee provides various information to the firm's Region Vice President-Agency.
Hargan, formerly of Mounds, joined the Country Companies in 1962 as an agent in the Jackson Agency. He became agency manager of the Massac Agency before assuming responsibility of the Alexander-Massac Agency in 1986.

Hargan has received numerous awards as an agent and manager for outstanding life insurance sales and services to clients.
Caldwell joined the Country Companies in 1977, as an agent in the Pulaski-Alexander-Massac Agency.
He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and is a member of the Cape Girardeau Life Underwriters Association.
Caldwell has also received awards for outstanding insurance sales.
