NAMED TO COUNCIL

DEXTER -- Charlie Jennings of Dexter has been named to the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council (MSMC).

Jennings, who replaces retiring Colie Taylor of Oran, will represent soybean producers from District 7, which has 25 counties, including Stoddard, Cape Girardeau, Bollinger, Butler, Dunklin, Mississippi, Madison, New Madrid, Scott and Pemiscot.

The MSMC is composed of 13 elected soybean producers from around the state, serving as administrators of the funds collected by the soybean checkoff.

Jennings will be installed during the July meeting, which will be held in Sikeston.
