NAMED MANAGER

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Kevin A. Govero, CLU, ChFC, has been appointed district manager for the William Green Agency of The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the U.S.

Agency manager William Green announced the appointment recently.

Govero joined The Equitable as an agent here in 1981. As district manager, the will cover Cape Girardeau and surrounding counties.

The Equitable is a provider of financial services to consumers and businesses, and pension fund manager.

The firm and its subsidiaries have approximately $135 billion in assets.
