NAMED CHAIRMAN

Kenneth G. Mehrle of Cape Girardeau has been elected chairman of the board of the Druggist Mutual Companies.

The chairmanship includes Druggists Mutual Insurance Company and the Pharmacists Life Insurance. Druggists Mutual was founded in 1901 and serves the pharmacy profession in 19 states.

Mehrle was elected to Companies board in 1986, and has served on numerous committees.

He has been active in retail pharmacy, the Missouri Pharmaceutical Association, The National Association of Retail Druggists, local and state civic organizations and other charitable causes.

Mehrle and his wife, Bettie, live in Cape Girardeau.
