The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will sponsor a question and answer seminar today on the issue of Section 8, Department of Housing and Urban Development public housing.
The seminar will begin at 7 p.m. at the Cape Civic Center, 232 Broadway.
Bill Tucker, housing director for the East Missouri Action Agency in Flat River and Charles Holm, housing inspector, will be guest speakers at the meeting.
Local NAACP President Michael Sterling said there have been a number of complaints recently about Section 8. "This is the time to stand up and be counted," he said.
"If you have questions about your Section 8 house or if you need one find out about your responsibilities and your rights," Sterling added.
