Retired New York police officer Tim Galvin earned the "Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year" award during "Stache Bash 2008" Saturday in St. Louis. Retired New York police officer Tim Galvin earned the "Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year" award during "Stache Bash 2008" Saturday in St. Louis. The event sponsored by the tongue-in-cheek group benefits a baseball league for those with developmental disabilities.

Galvin won in an online poll over a group that included former baseball player Keith Hernandez and one animated character, Cleveland Brown of TV's "Family Guy."
