KENNETT, Mo. -- A Kennett man charged with first-degree murder appeared in court again last week.
Jeremy Corcoran, also charged with armed criminal action, is accused of killing Andy Tijerina of Kennett in June. Corcoran appeared before Judge John Spielman in Division II of the Dunklin County 35th Circuit Court. His case was continued to Sept. 16.
Corcoran is accused of shooting Tijerina several times on the night of June 7 after an altercation at a home on South Hopper Street. He originally was charged with second-degree murder, but charges against him were amended last month.
