The case against a Kennett, Missouri, man charged with first-degree murder now will be heard in Butler County.

Circuit Court Judge Robert Mayer has granted a change of venue for Jeremy Corcoran. The case will now be heard by Presiding Judge Michael Pritchett of the 36th Judicial District.

Corcoran is accused of the killing of Andy Tijerina, also of Kennett, in June 2014. It is alleged he shot Tijerina a number of times on the night of June 7 after an altercation. Corcoran also is charged with armed criminal action.
