The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band will hold its first regional concert of the summer at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Bandshell in Capaha Park.
Ronald Nall, band director, and Mayor Al Spradling III, celebrity concert director, will lead a concert titled "Strike up the Band."
The music selection will include: "Strike up the Band," "Egmont Overture," "Lassus Trombone," "Original Dixieland Concerto," "His Honor March," "American Folk Rhapsody," "Atlantic Avenue," and "Richard Rodgers: a Symphonic Portait."
Everyone is invited to the free concert and should bring their lawn chairs.
