The 1992 Mrs. Missouri-United States Pageant will be held in Cape Girardeau, pageant officials have announced.
The event is scheduled for Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Convention Center. The winner will represent Missouri in the Mrs. United States National Pageant. The current Mrs. Missouri is Melody Hutson of Cape Girardeau.
Anyone interested in participating in the pageant should contact the state pageant director, Deborah McConnell, 416 North West End Boulevard, Cape Girardeau, or call Diane at 481-0844.
The Mrs. Missouri Pageant is open to married women 21 years of age or older who are residents of the state and U.S. citizens. There is no talent competition. The deadline for entering is Dec. 15.
The pageant is open to the public and all seats are reserved. Tickets may be purchased in advance from McConnell. Any tickets not sold in advance will be on sale at the door one hour prior to the event.
