MOUNDS, Ill. -- The graduates of Mounds Township High School held a reunion July 2 at Holiday Inn in Cape Girardeau.
There were 390 alumni from 23 states attending the dinner and dance.
Bishop Jean Meshew gave the invocation, Ed Bridewell was master of ceremonies, Carol Clark Mize presented a memorial for those deceased, and a skit was given by Ella Newell Shepherd and Ruth Littell Erb.
Paul Shaffer traveled the farthest, and Verna Essex Minton of the class of 1927 was the oldest.
It was voted to hold the reunion every other year.
