STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries Wednesday afternoon in a crash on Highway 32 in Ste. Genevieve County.
Dale Newman, 45, of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., was eastbound on Highway 32 on a 2008 Harley Davidson when he stopped to make a left turn into a private drive, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
According to the report, Marvin D. Milburn, 50, of Farmington, Mo., who was driving a 2003 Ford Ranger east on Highway 32, failed to see the motorcycle had stopped. The front of the Ranger struck the back of the Harley, causing Newman to be ejected into the westbound lane.
Newman was airlifted to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, the report stated.
